USC -20.5

September 29, 2007 8:00 PM EST
Husky Stadium, Seattle, WA

I dont want to sound like a broken record but when you have a sure bet like this 3-0 Trojan team you have to bet it all you can. First place USC is set to demolish this 2-2 Washington team on Saturday evening. SC is averaging 44.7 points per game with an average of 222.3 on passing yards and 244.7 on rushing yards.

John D. Booty holds a 70.1% completion rate with 629 yds for 9 TDs and 2 INTs. Stafon Johnson has 32 carries for 256 yds and 3 TDs under his belt. In the USC recieving dept we have F. Davis with 14 receptions for 211 yds and 2 TDs aswell as V. Hazelton with 11 reception for 93 yds and 2 TDs. Add all this together and you come up with an unstoppable University of Southern California team.

Put all you can on the Trojans!! This is the bet of the week!!

South Florida +7

September 28, 2007 8:00 PM EST
Raymond James Stadium
Tampa , FL

This Friday night South Florida (18) meets West Virgina (5) in Florida. I am going against the common current this week by betting on the 3-0 South Florida +7. SFLA is showing up to this match with a strong passing game averaging 238.0 yds per game for this season.

QB M. Grothe has a 60.4 CMP% for the season with 4 TDs and 652 yds. On the receiving end of this team, South Florida boasts with T. Johnson at 13 receptions for 150 yds and A. Jackson with 10 receptions for 128 yds and two touch-downs. I foresee lots of passing plays from South Florida for the win this Friday night.

If you want a winner bet on South Florida +7 this weekend !!

USC -24.5

LA Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA
Saturday Sept 22, 2007
8:00 PM ET

USC, 2-0, is set to play WSU, 2-1, at the Los Angeles Coliseum this Saturday. Even though Washington State seems to have a strong passing game with an average of 320.7 yds per game, I think the University of California will walk away with yet another winner under their belt. USC holds one of the best rushing yard records per game this season at 263.5 yds and 43.5 points per game. The WSU rushing game is kind of weak so look for lots of passing plays by Washington. I think that If USC finds the way to dismantle WSU’s passing game they will defintely have this one in the bag.

Take USC -24.5 this weekend for a sure bet….

Texas A&M +3

Orange Bowl , Miami , FL
Thursday Sept 20,2007
7:45 PM EST

Texas A&M is going into this game as a dogg despite the fact that they are 3-0 for the season. A&M will be facing a 2-1 Miami Florida team in Miami. I think we will see a strong Texas A&M team rush all over this low scoring Miami team. They are ranked 5th in the NCAA rankings for rushing yards while Miami is ranked 47th. As far as points are concerned A&M is ranked 13th and Miami 86th for total points scored. Texas A&M will display field presence Thursday night with a combination passing and rushing game. Look for tons of rushing yards

I think we have an easy pick on our hands for this Thursday…Take the points with Texas A&M and run!!

Hawaii -17.0

Saturday September 15, 2007
9:30 PM EST

I must admit that I was one of the many that laid the four TDs with the Warriors last week in Ruston. Such an utterly disgusting game. However, Hawaii did as many things as they possibly could to make sure they lost that game yet they escaped with a 45-44 win in OT. That says a lot about this team Hawaii team, as Ruston has historically been a tough place for them to succeed. On top of that, the weather was quite unlike any they played in for quite some time as the humid Louisiana air got to a bulk of their players. Cramps set in and many players were found sucking down oxygen.

With the public seeing them barely escape as 28-point road chalks last week, many will be ready to fade them in this spot against the Runnin’ Rebels of UNLV. Especially after they just witnessed the Top 10 ranked Wisconsin Badgers go into Sam Boyd Stadium and struggle to pick up the victory. I however won’t be one of the many as this is a great spot to jump back on the Warrior train as they cruise to a rather comfy road win and cover.

Hawaii stayed on the mainland this week, and that’s certainly a bonus, as the squad won’t come into this one lethargic after all the traveling. Also, UNLV is nowhere near as good as they made everyone think last week. Wisconsin always goes up against a lesser team every year and struggles. The Rebels just so happened to be that team this year.

Hawaii ripped these guys apart on the island by a 42-13 final margin a year ago, and a score of that variety wouldn’t shock me in the least this Saturday night. Hawaii will also have a nice crowd on hand as many of the islanders make Las Vegas their home away from home. UNLV just doesn’t match-up well against this Warriors club, and that was clearly evident in last year’s game after HC June Jones called off the dogs after they were up 42-0 in the 3rd quarter.

USC -10

Saturday September 15, 2007
5:00 pm est

No. 1 Southern California began the season with a one-sided victory. It could hardly be called something to write home about.

John David Booty threw three touchdown passes, Stafon Johnson scored the first two TDs of his college career, and the Trojans sputtered at times while beating outmanned Idaho 38-10 on Saturday night for their 34th consecutive victory at home dating to 2001 — the longest such active streak in the country.

After a well rested time off, we expect the Trojans to recieve a much stiffer test on Sept. 15 when they travel to face No. 20 Nebraska, a 52-10 winner against Nevada on Saturday.

The Trojans currently have a much stronger team both defensive and offensive wise than their upcoming oponent Nebraska.

Me being a Southern California kid I always like to go with USC no matter who they are playing but for Saturday I think your safest bet is on University of Southern California USC -10.

West Virginia -16.5

September 13, 2007
7:30 pm est

West Virginia was able to overcome a sluggish first half in its most recent victory. The Mountaineers, though, now they will likely need to start off on a different foot when they face Maryland on Thursday night.

The fourth-ranked (2-0) Mountaineers won 48-23 at Marshall on Saturday. It is evident that they needed to overcome a 13-6 halftime deficit to do so. West Virginia outscored Marshall 21-0 in the fourth quarter to finally pull away.

Their well fought for win may have contributed to their one spot drop on the AP TOP 25 but I still think this is one hell of a team for this coming season.

It is also very important to keep in mind that Maryland hasn’t beaten a top 5 ranked team since a 20-17 victory over then-No. 5 Florida State on Oct. 30, 2004. The Terps are 2-10 against ranked teams since that win.

San Diego Chargers -6.0

Sun Sep 9, 2007 4:15pm est

One of the premiere match-ups of Week 1 puts the defending NFC Champion, Chicago Bears, against the San Diego Chargers. Bears fans are shaking in theri boots as we approach game time.

I have a gut feeling tha the bears are going to be destryoyed . Halas Hall’s performance hasnt been all that great throughout the entire off-season, I see a very trying season ahead of this Chicago team. After seing situations such as the “Tank Situation”, Lance Briggs saying he’ll never play for them again then resigning for a year, and then abandoning his Lamborghini in the city after he drunkenly wrapped it around a telephone poll. Then QB Grossman’s slippery hands followed up by the #1 prized draft pick hurting his knee in their last game of the pre-season when he should have been resting with the bulk of the starters. I just don’t like it!!!

San Diego returns almost completely intact, aside from Marty, and you can find LT on the cover of ESPN the Magazine saying that in order for him and his teammates to be remembered, they have to win a Super Bowl. Well, the test in which will prove they can pull off such a feat starts Sunday afternoon, and they’re getting one of the best the NFC has to offer in their own house. No better time than now to start making people remember you.

SD has covered 12 of their L/15 home openers ATS, and the Bears are a woeful 4-9 ATS their L/13 away vs. the AFC. Lay the points with the Chargers as the Bears fail miserably on the west coast year in and year out, and the loser of the Super Bowl is a glaring 0-7 ATS the L/7 years.

Bet on the New Orleans Saints +6

The 2007 NFL season kicks off in style as the much-heralded New Orleans Saints come a marching to Indy to take on Peyton Manning and the defending Super Bowl champs. N’awlens had themselves an unbelievable campaign a season ago when they notched seven more victories than in ’05 to increase their mark to 10-6 SU in the regular season. They defeated the Eagles in the post-season, but eventually fell to the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in the NFC Championship game.

They come into this season with very high hopes as they return a bulk of last year’s team, and they made a number of solid free agent moves in the off-season and improved their depth in the draft. QB Drew Brees is back at the helm to lead HC Sean Payton’s imaginative offensive attack anchored by WR Colston & RB’s McAllister and Bush. This unit averaged close to 26 PPG in its infancy, and an even more potent attack looks to be on the horizon with a years worth of experience under this units’ belts.

The Saints were spectacular away from the Superdome last year (6-2 SU & 7-1 ATS), and I expect more of the same out of this bunch in ’07. They didn’t show much throughout the entire pre-season offensively, but I have already deemed HC Payton as someone who could care less about winning in the exhibition month. All gloves are off though tonight as they look to hand the Colts a loss right out of the gates, and I believe they can get the job done if indeed their offense wakes from the doldrums of the pre-season.

Remember, the Colts played out of their minds on the defensive side of the ball in last years post-season. This is still an average unit that plays well when all their parts are on the same page. New Orleans has the offense to keep them back on their heels for a full 60 minutes, and I fully expect New Orleans to take advantage of this suspect unit. Grab the points with the road team as they’ve proven in the past to be a solid proposition when playing the role of visitor.

Tonight the bet is on New Orleans Saints +6 !! Click Here for more NFL updates and information !!
