Bowling Green -6.5

November 2, 2007
Perry Stadium , Bowling Green , OH
7:30 PM ET

For this Friday nights game we have Bowling Green at home hosting the Akron Zips. The Falcons are listed as a 6.5 point favorite which in my opinion is a small price to pay since Bowling Green will dominate this game. Bowling Green has a very tight squad this season when it comes to their passing game. They are currently ranked 10th for passing yards in the NCAA with 321 average yds per game. BGSU is currently averaging 29 points per game while Akron a meer 19 points per game. Starting QB T. Sheehan has a 62.3% completion rate for 2152 yds and 15 TDs.

I also must mention that BGSU is 2-1 at home and AKR is 1-4 on the road. This will be an easy game for Bowling Green. Perry Stadium will be rocking this Friday night !!

Georgia Tech -2.5

Thbursday November 1, 2007
Bobby Dodd Stadium , Atlanta
GA , 7:30 PM EST

(11) West Virginia is on the road this week at Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are placed as a 2.5 point favorite in the upcoming Thursday night game. Georgia Tech will run all over this West Virginia team with their strong rushing game. Tashard Choice is one of Georgia Tech’s most valuable players with 167 carries for 864 yds and 7 touchdowns. They also have freshman RB Jonathan Dwyer who is also very impressive this year with 48 carries for 281 yds and 7 touchdowns. GT is ranked 14th for the season is Rushing yard with a 219.0 yd average. This will be a low scoring game, I would say 28 Gerogia Tech 24 West Virginia.

Boston College +3.5

October 25, 2007 7:30 PM EST
Lane Stadium , Blacksburg , VA

This Thursday (2) Boston College will travel to Blacksburg ,VA where they will face the (8)Virginia Tech Hokies. I think that the guys in Vegas fell asleep on the job when they put BC as a three and a half point dogg over Virginia Tech. Boston College is showing an all out better team this season than V-Tech. V-Tech’s main advantage in this game is that they are playing at home but I dont think that this will effect BC very much this Thursday.

Boston college enters this encounter with very strong stats so far for the season. They have an average of 460.6 yards per game , 316 passing yards average and 144.6 average rushing yards.  Boston College is averaging 35 points per game so look for a high scoring Boston College. This Game will be close but I forsee a 42-35 final score in favor of Boston College Eagles…We will have to wait and see what happens.

Boise State -3.5

October 26, 2007 9:00 PM EST
Bulldog Stadium , Fresno , CA

Fresno State is set to host Boise State in Bulldog Stadium, CA this Friday night. There will be a very dissapointed home crowd on Friday once Boise State gets done with this weak Fresno State team. Fresno has a total yards per game average of 399 while Boise State is weighing in with 500 under their belt. Both teams ranked with a total rushing yards per game average of 205, but Boise State can still bost with its strong passing game. Boise has a total passing yards per game average  of 295 up against Fresno who averaged in at 195. Senior QB Taylor Tharp will be leading this Boise State team to a sure victory.

The bet for this Friday night is on Boise State -3.5….

Florida -6.5

Florida @ Kentucky
Saturday,October 20, 2007
The Florida Gators enter into this contest well rested and off a bye week against a Kentucky Wildcats team that is in a let down mode after an emotional & physical 43-37 OT win against SEC power house LSU last week. That is not a good omen for a Kentucky program that has absolutely been dominated in the past by the Gators as is evident by losing 20 straight meetings in this series with the average margin of defeat ringing in at 23 PPG.

HC Meyers of Florida is 21-2 when having 7 days or more of preparation time. Its not always a great strategy backing TD+ away favs,in any football league, but sometimes the situation does warrant a wager, no more the amount.

South Florida -2.5

Thursday, October 18, 2007
Rutgers Stadium , Piscataway , NJ
7:30 PM ET

Piscataway NJ is the next stop on the (2)South Florida Bulls road to becoming the National Champions. Vegas has South Florida listed as a 2.5 favorite over the Rutgers for this Big East road test. I say the bet is on South Florida. The Bulls, 6-0 (4 at home and 2 on the road), will dominate the Rutgers who are currently 3-2 at home. Friday morning that stat will be Rutgers 3-3 at home, sorry to say. The Bulls amassed a season-high 543 yards in scoring the third-most points in the program’s history Saturday. Matt Grothe was 15-of-28 for 212 yards and two touchdowns, and also ran 16 times for 100 yards and two scores. Look for lots more of this on Thursday !!

Michigan -5.0

Sat Oct 13, 2007
12:00 pm est

Michigan (4-2) takes a 4 game winning streak into this contest against a Purdue(5-1) team that is in let down mode after losing to Ohio State 23-7 as 6.5 point home dogs, last week in what many Boilermaker fans believed was a good chance off pulling off an upset. That emotional loss will not sit well on the Boilermakers state of mind this Saturday in a place (The Big House) where they have lost 16 straight times since 1966. With that said, look for the Wolverines to take advantage of what I think will be a slow starting visiting team that has now lost 14 straight to ranked programs.

Purdue is 1-9 ATS in their last 10 October games and are 2-10 ATS last 12 on the road as 3.5 to 7 point dogs!

Wake Forest +7

October 11, 2007 7:30 PM ET
Groves Stadium
Winston-Salem , NC

This Thursday (21)FSU travels to North Carolina where they will face the Demon Deacons. The bookies have Wake Forest listed as a 7 point dog for the game this Thursday night and I recomend the Underdog for this encounter. This is going to be a very close game since stats for both teams are pretty even. Wake Forest has an average of 345.4 yds per game while FSU has a 357.0 yd average. Florida State seems to have a stronger Passing game with an average of 236.0 passing yds per game and WF with 206.4. On the other hand the Double Ds seem to have the upper hand in the Rushing part of the game with a 139.0 yd per game average and FSU with 121.0 yds. I think we will see a final score in this game of 21-24 in favor of FSU.

Auburn -7.5

October 6, 2007 12:30 PM ET
Jordan-Hare Stadium
Auburn , AL

The young Auburn Tigers have really progressed as a team with each game this season. This was proven last week when they went into Florida and walked away with a 20-17 upset win over the Gators. Auburn was listed as a 17 point underdog.

The Tigers are coming back with high confidence levels after their win last week. This Vanderbilt team has been dominated in the past by Auburn and this Saturday should no different.

The Tigers roar with 12 straight win this series, including 6 in a row at home by an average of 17.2 PPG. Auburn is 15-4 L/19 SU against SEC East opposition and are 15-4 ATS in their L/19 October games.

University of Kentucky +4

October 4, 2007 7:30 PM ET
Williams-Brice Stadium
Columbia , SC

The (08) University of Kentucky heads to Williams-Brice Stadium this Thursday to face (11) South Carolina. The dog in this encounter is an overall better team. The only thing SC has in their favor is the Home-Team Advantage. UK is showing up with 223.6 average rushing yards and SC with 139.6, in the passing department they are pretty close with Kentucky at 281.2 and South Carolina at 237.8.

The QB for Kentucky, A. Woodson, has a 67.1% completion rate for 1309 yds and 16 TDs while SC’s QB, C. Smelley averaged in at 53.2% for 554 yds and 4TDs. WR K. Burton has 30 receptions for 422 yds and 14.1 TDs for Kentcuky while WR K. McKinley has 27 receptions for 314 yds and 11 TDs for South Carolina. As I said Kentucky has the better team here for this Thursday night’s game.
